Bookkeeping services in Little Elm, Texas.

Down at the Lakefront, business runs on the calendar. Summer on Lewisville Lake is the whole year for some operations, and the FM 423 corridor never really slows down. We keep books for both kinds, flat fee, reconciled and closed by the 15th, every single month.

We reply within one business day. No pitch, no pressure.

Who we work with here

A lake town economy is its own animal.

Little Elm does not look like the towns around it, and neither do its businesses.

The two things that trip up lake businesses

Volume and seasons.

Volume first. A restaurant or a busy retail spot can run several hundred transactions in a month without anyone thinking about it. That is why we price by transaction count instead of guessing: it is the honest measure of how much work a set of books actually takes. A quiet service business lands in Essentials. A busy lakefront operation with a few processors and a couple of cards usually lands in Standard or Growing. Either way you can see it on the page before you call.

Then seasons. If most of your year happens between May and September, the dangerous months are the quiet ones, because that is when the books stop getting looked at and the picture goes fuzzy. Then March arrives and nobody can say what the good season actually cleared. Reconciled monthly books mean the slow season is where you plan instead of where you lose track.

And a flat monthly fee has a specific advantage in a seasonal business: your bookkeeping cost is the same in July as it is in January. It never spikes in the month you can least afford the distraction.

Little Elm questions

Asked around the lake.

We run a restaurant. Is that too many transactions for you?

Not at all, that is what the Growing plan exists for. High-volume businesses get priced by their actual transaction count, and we tell you which tier you land in before you commit. What we do not do is manage your payroll or pay your vendors; we record and reconcile everything so you keep control of the money.

Our revenue is almost entirely seasonal. How does billing work?

The same flat fee every month, drafted on the 1st. Predictable in both directions: no hourly surprise in your busy season, no bill that balloons when the work does.

We take payments through several different systems. Is that a problem?

It is common and it is workable. Multiple processors and card readers are one of the main reasons lakefront books drift, because deposits land in batches that do not obviously match sales. Reconciling those to the statement every month is core to what we do.
